Lagardère Travel Retail, a global retail operator, has announced the acquisition of a chain of 131 Costa Coffee cafes in Poland and 11 in Latvia as part of a master franchise.
Lagardère Travel Retail manages a network of more than 1000 points of sale in Poland under 40 different brands within 3 business lines: Travel Essentials, Duty Free & Fashion and Foodservice — it is written on the company's website. Lagardère Travel Retail includes brands such as Relay, Inmedio and Hubiz.
Retcon, with extensive experience in migration projects, will be responsible for moving all data and processes from Costa Coffee to Microsoft Dynamics at Lagardère Travel Retail.
“We have been honoured to work with Lagardère Travel Retail for more than a dozen years offering services in the field of development of Microsoft Dynamics business systems. We are convinced that our experience will allow us to migrate data and processes seamlessly and ensure the continuity of Lagardère Travel Retail,” said Michał Zelik, President of Retcon.
The transfer of the Costa Coffee chain in Poland to the control of Lagardère Travel Retail is another step in the development of the company on the Polish market and the expansion of the offer of concepts for shopping centers, streets, settlements, stations and more.
A migration of the system will be carried out in the coming months and Retcon will work closely with the Lagardère Travel Retail team to ensure the most efficient and effective migration possible.
